Illinois Hispanics meet with Juan McCain in Downtown Chicago
If you had thought that John McCain, the Republican candidate running for President had a change of heart about trying to push for Comprehensive Immigration Reform, a.k.a. shamnesty after being so badly defeated in 2007 in the Senate you wouldn't have been alone thinking that but you would have been wrong along with everyone else who thought that.
Late last year McCain said he finally got the message and that he finally realized that the borders must be secured before anything else. But are the borders being secured? That would depend on how you define 'secured'. That is a subject for another time but in general I would say no, not really.
Well, now it turns out that McCain has been going around the country meeting with small groups of about 150 or so Mexicans in attempts to assure them that he hasn't forgotten them. These meetings are held under fairly tight security and scrutiny with no media allowed and by campaign personal pre-interviewed invite only. And it would appear that is a good thing once you realize what he has been telling these groups of Mexicans behind closed doors where he feels pretty secure from prying public eyes and ears.
It turns out that someone (an American of Mexican ancestry) who is not so happy with this setup managed to get a private invite to the Chicago private function and this person has written a firsthand witness report from notes she took on the meeting.
Go here, here, here and HERE and read the posted report. The third link is to Michele Malkins blog who reported on this meeting in Chicago as well. If after you read these reports you aren't convinced about McCains secret illegal alien agenda for shamnesty here then you are either a McCain partisan and there is no hope for you or America and or you just don't care that your country is being robbed from you and me right before your own eyes.

Illinois Hispanics meet with Juan McCain in Downtown Chicago
.... John Mc Cain's favorite words of the evening were Comprehensive Immigration Reform. But he started out first of all saying if he is gonna win the Presidential election he will need the support of the Latino community.
He said " My state has been enriched by the Hispanic culture in Arizona."
Then John MC Cain asked a question "Did you know this? I bet some of you did not know that Spanish was spoken in Arizona before English" ...Loud cheers from the audience. (Ok John Mc Cain What is your AZATLAN POINT?)
Then he said " I want to have some straight talk about our relationship with Mexico, our closest neighbor and dearest friend" He talked about the Mexican President fighting the drug cartels.
Then John Mc Cain aid the exact thing I came to hear, he said "I was proud to work for Comprehensive Immigration Reform and If I am elected President I assure you that in 2009 I will ask Congress to pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform." (The crowd goes wild)"It is a Federal Responsibility" he said and continued " we also need a temporary guest worker program" ....
John McCain talked about a debate he was in about enforcing the law and he says that the "other side had a lot of "Rhetoric" "you know what I am talking about!" he said. ....
You really should go and read the rest of the story for yourself if you have any doubt what so ever.
